Richard Twill - Landscape with Figures

Richard Twill is a British-American photographer who gained international recognition for his photographic work in a variety of different fields, such as fashion and portraits. He is well known for his bold, provocative and unique photographs that are often controversial and feature subject matter that is sometimes distasteful to some, yet at other times highly humorous. Richard Twill's name became synonymous with controversial and "artistic" photos during the 1960s and he remained at the forefront of such photography through the 1970s and beyond. Richard Twill was born in Washinton, Dorset, the son of a mining engineer and secretary for a steel company.
